| Description: | The Department of Commerce will be providing a webinar on Thursday October 9th, 2025 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM CST. During the webinar we will have 2 presenters sharing information of what a Comprehensive Industry Sector Partnership is, best practices that they have seen through their own experiences and through their own grant program. Our first speaker is Pooja Tripathi, the Senior Director of Workforce Innovation from The Manufacturing Institute. She will provide first hand knowledge of the success and need of these types of programs. Our second speaker is Molly Thompson, Industry Partnerships Program Manager for the State Workforce Board, Maine Department of Labor. She will be presenting on best practices and first hand experience with a grant program of this nature. Following our presenters we will allow for questions and with the time remaining. Evan Moser will present on the RWIP grant guidance and allow for questions as well. This webinar will be recorded and put on the website for any that miss the opportunity and all questions will be added to the Frequently Asked Questions document on our website. |
